Hi,I am based in India and moving to Chicago in another 2 weeks. I have been to Chicago sub-urb before but have no idea about the downtown. I will be working in downtown close to University of Chicago. Can anyone please suggest a livable area with not sky high rentals (<1200$) in 45 mins of commute using train? For car it should be around 30 mins. A quick help is appreciated. Thanks.
