Hi,I am trying to apply PIO card for my daughter, at Indian consulate SFO, using the form downloaded from http://www.cgisf.org/visa/piocard.pdfDo the parents signature need to be notarized, even if we are going in person to apply?According to page 2 in the form:"Declaration of Parents for applying for minors (upto 18 years) - to be signedBy both parents duly notarized"I have checked with several of my friends and none of them had to notarize their signatures. Has anything changed recently? If any of you have applied recently in person, please advise.Thanks!
Hi,I forwarded original passport of my son and did not send any notorized or apostalized or whatever copies. If you send orignal you do not need to get them notarized. I basically sent orignal passport for my son and my husband and my orignal indian passports. I also sent our birth certificates (notarized). Hope that helps:)
