It was launched by Ariane launch vehicle at French Guyana.
5/26/1957	Janta Insurance Scheme was inaugurated in Bombay.
1/7/1993	The union govt. acquires 67.703 acres of land in and around the disputed area at Ayodhya and refers the issue to the Supreme Court.
