Hi,Im looking to buy a Nissan Pathfinder 2016 or a new Honda Pilot.I liked both the vehicles but felt the interior of Pathfinder more comfy and a dealer is giving my choice of colour too but have heard its maintenance in the long run is more when compared to Pilot and resale value also is less.I wll be financing and have an old Nissan Altima which I may not be trading immediately .So,Ive to pay the insurance for both the cars too.I drive some 35 miles to and fro to work everyday.pilot is costing a bit heavier on pocket as of now but confused about Pathfinder too.Want to know all of your reviews, experiences,if any. Thanks!
I dont know about Pathfinder but my Pilot just completed 100,000 miles. All I had to do was just the routine / recommended maintenance, changed tires / battery etc. I am pretty certain that my Pilot will run another 100,000 miles (although I may not keep it for that duration). It is a very comfortable car, easily seats 8 people and usually does not require high maintenance. I get 17-18 in town and 21-23 highway (depending on how fast I drive). For what its worth, I am never buying any other Japanese brand...HTH. Thanks!
